I was first very sceptical about purchasing the product. It was given such mixed reviews. I went ahead and purchased it and I'm so glad I did. I installed it on our business front door. It is a metal frame, which according to others, the unit had issues with it. The unit is only 35 feed away from the door trigger and it works great. I am really happy with the selection of ringtones and the ability to select one of three volumes for ease of hearing. During the holidays, we're able to select holiday music, then during the rest of the year, we're able to select either a variety of music or chimes to fit our mood. Resetting the chime to fit our needs is really easy too. I also liked the fact that we unplugged the unit for a couple of days, and when it was plugged back in, it still remembered the door chime we selected. I'm really happy we purchased this item.
