As someone who sweats profusely on the course, I've ridden quite a few racquets with slippery grips. Haven't lost control since using it. def is worth it if you're dealing with a similar problem. Another benefit is that you can hand wash them, strum them and let them dry. word of warning. Most of the stamp will be washed off the first time. but the gloves look the same. Would I buy again after destroying them on green. but they seem durable enough to last quite a while (so far they've outlasted the leather gloves I've used).
