I put this in my brand new Mazda CX-5 in September in NC and had no issues with it. The it got colder down here. Apparently the adhesive was flexible in the warm weather and not so much in the colder weather. This caused the Start button to stick and shut down my car on several occasions. It’s quite frightening to have your car shut down on the I-95 doing over 70 mph.I wouldn’t recommend using it on your start button.
