Review on Moen 16090 Chateau Collection Chrome Escutcheon Replacement for One-Handle Tub and Shower Faucets by Chris Bowden

This is a photo of my old Moen plate that I replaced. It was installed around 1980. I just wanted a nicer plate and that was it. The new panel I bought has a rubber gasket on the outside and fits very snugly against the shower screen. It also has a rubber gasket around the tube opening which also makes it very tight. At first I thought the hole was too small, but I applied a little pressure and it fitted the pipe perfectly. I highly recommend this chrome replacement, it looks great! The only thing that didn't bother me was that the characters were hot and cold instead of letters.
