Plastic inner compartment

After reading all the positive reviews I was delighted with this machine. However, after assembling it and cleaning it thoroughly, I found that the inner compartment, where the "magic” happens, is made of low-quality plastic. This area is exposed to hot steam and I don't know about you, but I don't want to drink microplastics! After a thorough cleaning, it smelled of plastic. I would have expected more from a 450€ car. Is it really difficult to replace it with a better material? say stainless steel?
