The product works as expected. Appears during installation (single monitor issue) Please read

I hope this helps the many people who have posted about single monitor issues. You need to be aware that if you are using USB C for power, it will take precedence over HDMI and the monitor will not be recognized through HDMI. Solution: If you are using HDMI, you must power the monitor via USB A. My Microsoft Book 2 has a USB-C. So I used the dock (see link). 1664909313&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIxLjk0IiwicXNhIjoiMS44NCIsInFzcCI6IjAuMDAifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=TG+do%2Caps%2C147&sr=8-4&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.006c50ae-5d4c-4777-9bc0-4513d670b6bcI also made the book 2 docking station work.I have tried the following methods Success: 1. USB C to a monitor (power and video). HDMI (from docking station) and USB-A for power.2. Docking station for both monitors (two HDMI cables) and USB-A (both monitors) for power supply. (See very short video) Failed installation1. USB C connected to monitor 1 and then USB C connected to another monitor for power supply and the second monitor connected to HDMI.2. HDMI (two cables) from docking station to both monitors and powered via USB-C. (Result: Monitors not working) The setup I couldn't get to work is two USB-C from the dock (one for each monitor). I don't know why it won't work. If you have old eyes like mine I would not recommend this product. I forgot how small 12 inches is. This isn't a tech ditch, just my old eyes. I could rate this product higher but the technology is outdated. Newer monitors shouldn't have this switching problem. Hope that helps!
