After experimenting with Apple and Anker's USB-C cable, I can say that this is indeed the first third-party cable to feature USB-C -Fast charge used. Powered by a 30W adapter (also made by Anker), my iPhone X fully charges in about 60 minutes. However, not everything is so great. One issue I had was data over USB-C when trying to use the cable to update and transfer files to my Surface Book 2. I had several errors updating my phone, backing up, restoring or moving files. One day an update resulted in a recovery that only succeeded after replacing the cable with an official Apple cable. I'm not sure if this is a problem with my cable or my PC, but it's really disappointing. Finally, it's nice to have one cable for both charging and quick file transfers. In terms of quality and value, it's just a few bucks less than what Apple is offering for the 3-foot version. In comparison, however, it seems to be much more durable. This also means the cable is MUCH thicker in diameter and less flexible. This is something worth mentioning for those who love things that are lightweight and extremely durable. Overall, I can't wait to see more sentences of varying lengths. But I really hope to see an improvement in the data part.
