Review on Royal Sovereign Auto Feed Cross Cut RAF 25P by Leonard Herrera

Thought I'd take a chance despite the bad reviews. As I currently have a tricky paper shredder I figured I could work with this Royal Sovereign. I wanted a duration of 60 minutes. I wanted auto feed. But. This mill is very disappointing. It clogs very easily as it locks when the container is more than half full. Paper jams also occur if you do not fold the paper properly into the ADF. I've lubricated the knives with both oil and grease sheets and while that helps for a while (about 20-30 sheets) they start jamming again. I also didn't like that the jam indicator is the same overheat indicator. At first I thought it was overheating, but it actually got stuck. The only good thing about this shredder is the runtime. I can manually feed 5 sheets at a time for an hour and it still shreds (make sure the bin is no more than half full). But my old shredder can shred 15 sheets in 30 minutes. It keeps grinding until the bin is full without replenishment. In terms of performance, it is far superior to Royal Sovereign. Do not buy. Trust the reviews.
