Review on 🐾 Armarkat Bolstered Pet Bed and Mat: Ultra-Soft Dog Bed for Maximum Comfort by Shauna Bishop

I was expecting it to be a lot smaller than it was. I bought a light blue and dark blue 18 inch bed for my Siamese cat. It weighs around 8-10 pounds and has plenty of room! The bed was taken apart which surprised me as I had read other reviews that their beds were vacuum packed and molded. What you don't see in the photo is a very fancy (but a bit tacky and fidgety) zipper that runs along the bottom of the bed. The bed walls are four separate pillow fillers that you put in yourself. The middle part of the bed is another pillow that you insert into the detachable part. This is great for the cat owner as all parts can be easily removed to allow the bed to be washed. However, I can imagine a dog darting around the center cushion. The cushion filling says it's waterproof, so apparently they're washable too. It makes a slight rustling noise which is good as my cat loves paper and rustling noises. The bottom of the bed is made of a harder plastic with tiny tabs for grip. The bed is reversible, but the light blue is fluffy and soft, while the dark blue looks more like a beautiful canvas. On the first day he mostly ignored the bed; until he was in his old bed (a cardboard box that will soon be gone), although this new bed was closer to his favorite heater. The second day I sprinkled some catnip on the bed while the heater was heating up and he jumped in with some assistance. He lies there all morning! I am very happy with the size, shape, feel, construction and quality of this bed. My only concern is the zipper at the bottom which tends to get snagged a bit and doesn't seem to hold up many times. I didn't know until they sent me this bed was from Armarkat. I have one of their scratching posts which I bought direct from them and it's great and very high quality. I love this company and the quality products they make. I'm very glad I (accidentally) bought from them again. The bed arrived securely packaged about two days after I ordered it. I will definitely use this company and order again!
