Attached to a wooden bridge I built across a small creek on my property. It was built from treated wood and I waited about 4 months before sealing it as I wanted to make sure the wood would absorb the sealant. It was very easy to apply, it turned milky white which made it easy for me to see any spots I had missed, although after drying it became transparent with a slight sheen. It turned out to be a bit thinner than I expected, but it didn't seem to affect the application as most of the surface I applied was horizontal, it bled a little on vertical surfaces, especially the first coat, but it looked like it was still soaked in. I applied two coats total, following the directions and making sure to apply the second coat within an hour while the first coat was still wet. We had heavy rain a little over 24 hours after applying and it seems to have worked great, the water picks up drops very well. Let's hope this lasts a few years. Thinking about it, I'll try to go back and revisit it in a few years.
