Review on ⏰ La Crosse Technology 515-1419-INT 15-Inch Textured LCD Atomic Clock, Slate Black - 15.42" x 1.14" x 7.33" size by Marc Farrell

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I have had two models of this model, both failed to show the time/date correctly

I have several atomic clocks at home including another La Crosse model and none have had any problems. out of them. However, I do not recommend this particular model at all. The first was given to me. It took a few days to get the signal from the tower but in the end I got the right day and time and I could see it connected from time to time to keep it up. (Remember, I have several atomic clocks and they've never had signal reception problems in the same parts of my house where I've tried these.) After I hooked them up they worked fine for a month, but then in February, the 5th, it suddenly decided it was Daylight Saving Time and jumped ahead an hour (the display showed the DST character, so I know why it changed). Again, all my other atomic clocks did NOT do this, so it wasn't a problem with the tower. I tried resetting but that didn't fix it. So I bought a second one from Revain to give it a second chance. Again it took several days for the signal to be received. Then, after a little less than a month of use, he suddenly went insane again. This time, however, not only did it switch to the wrong time, it suddenly decided it was a very different day. It was late February and the date was already showing in January, and it was at least 12 hours late. And in fact, minutes were even far away, not just hours, so it didn't feel like a different time zone, it was just completely wrong. So I sent a second one back to Revain for a refund and gave up on that model. I wouldn't recommend this watch to anyone, you just can't rely on it to work.

Pros

Cons
  • Not as thick as other models
