I looked at many hook options before deciding on this one. My tile is slightly textured so the suction cup hooks didn't hold up well. S hooks won't work anywhere unless they're in the way. I don't like glue either, but I had no choice. When I remove them, a scraper (plastic so as not to scratch the tiles) takes care of it along with Goof Off or Goo Gone. I will need it because this glue is strong! I wanted something that could hold razors but wasn't so specific to that use that I couldn't use them for other things. They are durable but not bulky. The size is very good and they look good. I have shower stools for two and razors for two (see photo). I placed them where they got least wet; to prolong the life of the adhesive, add air space to the slides and protect the razors from rust. It was a good deal of 4 packs and that's how much I need!
