Just received and unpacked today. Here's what we saw in the first 10 minutes of processing: Positive moments -1. Looks good looking.2.Sliding back and forth 10 times always returns to zero except the very first time Cons -1.The scale given on the slide is only marked in large units of 10 millimeters and one inch, no less, hence it is useless as a substitute for digital reading.2.The edges of the sliding caliper teeth are very sharp and can easily scratch the surface of the target.This applies to both teeth: the longer ones at the bottom of the scale, used to measure the outside diameter, and the shorter ones at the top of the scale used to measure the inside diameter.3.The set screw at the top of the scale is almost the same height as the shorter measuring teeth at the top of the scale and may need to be removed nt be used to measure the inside diameter of items thicker than 1 inch. We will keep it or return it for a refund if something better can be found locally.
