I do not recommend using the microwave as the wax cools too quickly. So buy a wax warmer unless you only plan on depilating your lips. Don't come en masse as other reviews have mentioned and I live in Southern California which is now summer. I don't hate the smell, but if you're sensitive to the smell you might not like this - it's a very cheap synthetic coconut-vanilla scent. I personally would prefer an unscented wax to this particular scent, but maybe that's just me. Wax). It is not very pleasant to the touch, but definitely superior to epilation in the long run. One thing I noticed is that while it does a good job on coarse hair, it struggles with fine hair. Although I think this is a feature of the hardest wax, not this particular brand. If it breaks in the middle of pulling, you are not applying a thick enough layer. In general, this is an affordable hard wax. With the right application and technique, it does the job.
