In our 50 years of marriage we have never hung lights on gutters or roofs. This year we decided to hang electric icicles, which we usually hang from a tree, from the gutters. Bought these gutter clips and they arrived amazingly fast, overnight! I ordered a large size and they barely caught on the front edge of the gutter. They do not wrap around the leading edge of the gutter. We have type K gutters. I managed to fix them but I'm not sure if they will survive the snow and wind holiday season. The small round clip on the front is very difficult to open to insert the wire for the Christmas garland. If the clips don't fall out of the grooves, I'm sure the little circle will definitely be hanging on the wire itself. Hoping that everything turns out for the best. Will update this after Christmas when we get them back.
