I saw several people using this cutter, so I decided to try it myself. It was easy to assemble but annoying because the wire wouldn't stay in place. When I assembled it it wasn't in the middle. I tried to fix it and then cut off a bar of soap. The soap I cut wasn't solid, but the wire broke off completely at the end even halfway through cutting. I made sure I assembled it correctly before trying it. Very disappointed with this product. It's nothing more than a thin cheese slicer, although I'm not even sure it will slice through it easily.
