So I had a little higher expectations for these shoes. They have a solid bottom, but the style is just a little funky. Not exactly what I had expected, they are just a little "chunky" maybe is the right word. They do fit pretty well and I like how wide you can open the tongue to get the child's foot in the shoe. They seem to run a tad on the small side from what I can tell (but it can be hard to gauge on an active 4 year old).All in all she is happy and excited and has been wearing them to play and has not mentioned any discomfort of any kind so that is a win!
