Review on DonJoy Performance Bionic Support Brace by Jamal Edwards

Excellent product as it is and as it should be. I have a medial meniscus tear, a dislocated kneecap and osteoarthritis in my left knee. Before I got this brace, climbing stairs was very painful and my knee felt very unstable when walking on level ground. After wearing this brace for about three weeks all the time except when I sleep and shower, I can now walk, climb and descend stairs while wearing the brace without pain. In fact, I've done a few moderately difficult 10-mile hikes with no pain. And now I can ride a bike. It's not a $500 offloading brace so I'm not sure if continuing to wear it will cure any of my ailments. But it does provide some vertical support and regular use for 3 weeks has allowed me to return to my normal low impact activities. As long as I wear it I have no more pain or instability. I'm 67 and I don't do Impact work anymore, so I don't know if he'll let me do it. Size: based on the size chart. I bought Medium from Revain. It fits perfectly and comfortably on my bare leg. But it's too small for me to wear over jeans or anything but the skinny pant. So you can order one size larger.
