Effect after use: care products and masks

I've bought this product before, but it wasn't until I started using it that I remembered why I didn't like it. I love everything Roc Retinol has to offer, it's a great product but this serum leaves a grainy effect on your face. I use it right after cleansing my face and before applying other products. Has anyone had a similar situation?
