Review on ECCO Helsinki Slip Shoes Santiago: The Perfect Blend of Style and Comfort by William Dean

I've been wearing Ecco Helsinki shoes for 20 years, the last pair was bought in 2014. It was time for a new pair and as soon as I tried them on I knew something was wrong. Through shoes I discovered the source of the problem. These shoes have always been made in Portugal and it was a huge disappointment to see that they are now made in China. The difference is immediately noticeable: the shoes are too tight, the padding is thinner and the leather is worse. Also the shock point heel is no longer red. Shame on you Ecco for sacrificing such a good shoe for such low quality standards. Obviously the shoes were returned and never bought again.
