Bought to have hot fat bike tea. I made tea before the trip and still couldn't drink it hours later! I expected it to cool down a bit, so I just brewed water for tea and poured it into a bottle along with the tea bags. Now I use some cold water to cool it down and make the tea less hot. It stays hot throughout the ride (about an hour and a half, temperatures between 20 and 35 degrees Fahrenheit). Used it about 5 times. The bottle cage is pretty decent, scratches the bottle but what, right? You can adjust the cage to fit different size bottles, which is cool and seems to work as it should. The only thing I didn't like was that due to the smaller diameter of the tube, the mount only fit my bottle screws on the top and bottom tubes. I couldn't get the bottom bolt to engage the threads on my Brazeons down tube due to the shape of the plastic mount. Update Tore up old Fattie for a year. The 1st ride bottle kept my tea hot as hell for an hour and twenty minutes. However, I returned home to find that I had lost the bottle somewhere on the last leg of the trail when I tipped over in the snow. I'll go back this afternoon and find it or order a new one if it runs out. Great bottle for hot meals, loved how the lid, spout and seal came off. Another reviewer mentioned that the bottle doesn't fit tightly in the cage, I've never seen this as a problem. It wobbled a bit but I used it to play around with the fat guy and it stayed in place until it stopped.
