Do your homework - Internal hard drives
Bought to upgrade my Toshiba laptop to a Toshiba 500 from a 250GB hard drive and the price was good. But other actions delayed cloning until the return period expired - very bad. An existing hard drive has been found to have 512 byte sectors while a 500GB hard drive has an extended 4000 byte sector format - not compatible. The moral of the story is that you need to spend some time determining the fit before you buy.
