This was the most stretchy and flexible of the three inexpensive belts I tried, perhaps because it's thin. Because of that flexibility, it probably won't break if bent too much, but it's definitely lighter and easier to twist. The teeth on the buckle are very thin and look like they will bend easily. (see photo 1) The material smells like leather but probably doesn't. Looking at the end of the strap below the buckle area, it appears to be a sandwich of synthetic materials (see photo 2). not covered at all. Second, a moveable attachment loop in case the belt is too big for you. Too light and too thin. The buckle is cheap, the lugs on the buckle are too thin.
