So I'm building a HeathKit digital clock - an updated one I built in the 70's. This requires cutting a 4 inch strip of six wires, tinning the ends and soldering both ends to both the scoreboard and the control board. I did this once and decided the next set needs to simplify this step a bit. Voila, GenBasic 80 pcs male-male and female-female (4" and 8") were not only the correct length, but also followed standard color codes. Just great! With the additional purchase of breakaway PCB connectors they fit perfectly - a great tool as troubleshooting is so much easier
