Review on 16GB USB Telephone Phone Voice Recorder for Landline with Power from Telephone System, Mini Telephone Recorder (Reduced Charging Time) by Josh Flanagan

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Deserves a NEGATIVE TEN rating!

If you value your time, please DO NOT waste your time with this EOQO Display Phone Recorder! I spent half a day trying to get this thing to work. The DESIGN of this recorder from the EOQO showcase is more than pathetic from the start! In fact, the physical design is just as bad as the INSTRUCTION booklet that comes with it, which appears to have been created by a third grader. Apparently the software was created by the same third grader. The terse illustrations for all the different languages in this manual did not match the actual device. This third grader also forgot to provide a way to distinguish ON from OFF and for example didn't provide a way to distinguish LINE IN from LINE OUT. Removing the so-called cover to access the charging port, switch, and SD card slot was so difficult that I was afraid the fragile thing would fall apart in my hands. That cover is useless anyway, so why not just remove it permanently. Surprisingly, when plugged into the charger, the light turned red. Equally astounding was the fact that moving the so-called power button one way or the other caused a flashing red light to light up on the opposite side of the device. Files have never been written to the included SD card despite turning the lights on and off while using the phone. And yes, we are connected to an analog phone. Thinking that the included SD card might be bad, I've tried other 8GB and 16GB cards to no avail. I lost a card because the slot was so sloppy that the card fell into the case of the device. Complete GARBAGE! PLEASE DON'T WASTE TIME. Most of the other reviews must be WRONG!
