love love love!

So I bought it because it was the cheapest available in clear form. Props, it came a full day earlier than the original arrival date. There were no real guidelines but I read in the comments that it was a one on one ratio. I was planning on using them all at once so it wasn't a big deal. It turned out that the mold I made was too big and not enough for me, so I ordered a second set. He came back a whole day early! So technically I received both shipments within the same week. I was able to mix the silicone that was already there (which had set well) and poured it into a mold and it solidified as one big chunk. Since then I have used the mold almost 20 times and it cures well. The transparency turned white when used on the area where the resin had cured, but this is normal. I just needed clarity so that when extracting the original parts I could cut out the shape in the right places. The mold is very detailed and has almost no bubbles in the final product (remember this was my first time making a mold so the bubbles are most likely my fault). I can't recommend this enough and I plan on buying more (hopefully soon). I can't say anything about the expiry date as I didn't have any leftovers. The bottles have a nice plastic screw cap, though, so they should work just fine for at least a while.

Pros
  • EASY TO USE - No special skills or tools required. The silicone mold kit contains A and B components, the mix ratio is 1:1 by weight. Pour part A and part B together, then mix for 5-6 minutes, making sure to stir the mixture thoroughly for best results.
Cons
  • Not bad but...
