Review on Troxel Equestrian Helmets - Spirit Riding Helmet by Juan Grayson

So I picked this helmet out because I knew my daughter would love the pink and purple colors with the horse. I also have owned several Troxel helmets myself and have always been very happy. I will say that this helmet does fit her - it seems a little heavy and also it's not really "sized" smaller - it just seems there is more padding on the inside of a shell that could be used from everything from XS to XS. My daughter is 6 years old and has been taking riding lessons/pony rides since she was 2 year old so I felt it was time for her own helmet. I do feel there are other options out there for little kids that sizing wise would be better for little heads. (The other girls all have Ovation helmets that look like they fit a bit better) However she LOVES her helmet and I do like the adjustable part at the back that can come down under her ponytail. I also have no issues with safety or function - I know this will protect her precious little head. I just wish overall it was a little lighter and the shell was a little smaller.
