This gave me a nice clean outer finish. I would say it's a bit pricey for an empty box, but it's a special box and well designed. The cables used were smaller than the minimum size I could seal with a compression fitting on the end, so I added some sealant. There's a seal on the door. You can always siliconize the edges for extra durability without compromising the ability to get inside. The wire block lugs fit over some tapered plastic posts that hold them in place. There is so much space to make a patch. It's firmly mounted on a beam below deck, so don't worry.
