I usually have to buy Keen or Alegria for my husband who is on his feet for hours at restaurants. He loves these shoes! I will say the insole wore out pretty quickly so we took the insoles out of the Keenes and replaced them. The outer shoe holds up well and they are quite slip resistant. This is probably not very practical for restaurant managers due to issues with the insoles, but you can always insert or replace insoles. (But at this price, if you want.) As a men's shoe for leisure or office work - perfect! After long hours on your feet, expect the insole to crack after a month or so.
