Works perfectly! - Air conditioning line repair tool

Devices need to be assembled - some parts need to be rotated, not difficult, everything is marked in color. No tools are required as hand tightening is recommended. The kit contains all the necessary parts, except for a bottle of freon, to refuel the car's air conditioning system. This assumes that the system has not been opened to air, that there is some pressure on either the high or low pressure side, and that the system does not need to be evacuated. If the system has been opened, you will also need a vacuum pump. There is no Schrader valve on the manifold where the evacuation/inflation hose (yellow) is connected. This valve is used to purge air from the manifold before freon is added. Flushing can be easily performed by simply disconnecting the inflation/evacuation hose (yellow) AFTER the bottle has been attached to the inflation hose (yellow) and inserted. In fact, some YouTube videos recommend this method. Flushing is necessary, otherwise air and (worse) water can enter the air conditioner. NOTE: Wear both gloves (nitrile is enough - not sure I trust the stuff) and EYE PROTECTION is really necessary when working with freon as it can freeze skin and eyeballs. Gloves are essential when cleaning the fill hose by loosening the fitting - the only method available with this tool. I have absolutely NO confidence that this (or any other) sensor set will ever leak - most likely due to operator error - so be careful and carry your gear. My '95 4Runner's air conditioning was getting warmer and hotter. in recent years s. These gauges allowed me to add the correct amount of R134A, add small amounts at a time and control both gauges to properly fill a partially filled system. It's nice to have an R134A chart (google it) as it tells you what high and low pressure to look for based on the ambient (outside) temperature. Now I'm getting 38-40F of air through the dash vents. Outside the gas station when it was 85F outside I got 85F on the vents.
