I was a little nervous that they would look like my mother's old compression hoses, but I'm pleasantly surprised. I can wear them to the office with my suit skirts and they look like normal fashion stockings. (My co-worker even complimented me without realizing I was wearing compression stockings.) I pay nearly three times as much for another brand that doesn't offer the support that these have. Admittedly they are a bit tricky and I chose to just clip my nails short rather than risk rupturing a hose or snapping a nail right through the heart. My only complaint about her looks is that the loose fabric puckers a little around the toes and shows up around the edges of my pumps. I have to fold the excess material and tuck it under my toes. (However, many reviewers seem to want/need a little more toe room.?) They appear to be quite durable, and while they continue to hold up well to daily wear and tear, I plan to make these my new brand.
