Review on Daytime Running Assembly Driving Upgrade by Matt Vanlaere

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A small gap, flood and fog lights, bright, work, you have to reuse normal brackets.

Like: They work! (They're from China so it was 50/50) They're light, they fit ALMOST perfectly. Dislikes: They don't fit perfectly - there's a small gap where the black body curves slightly away from the bumper. This is about 1/4-1/8 inch. It's not particularly noticeable, it's annoying, but I probably won't notice it in a month. Fasteners are not included. (If I haven't thrown them somewhere and haven't forgotten) Regular lights are attached to the black stock body with 4-5 nuts with wide flat edges (like a tiny sombrero). These nuts are secured with small lock washers with even smaller teeth in the center that dig into the plastic. Why a lock washer when the screw itself is tightened/screwed into the plastic more than enough and sits where it can't work loose and accidentally wriggle out? I have no idea - it's Super Over Kill! However, having to pry the washers open with pliers (I used a 90 degree needle) is very annoying. Washers cannot be reused as they cannot be removed without being bent/broken. be too big I have yet to adjust with the set screws so I'm hoping this will get rid of the fog lights illuminating the 2nd floor of the neighboring houses. The wiring for the daytime running lights section of the fog lights (horizontal stripe) is not long enough to reach the fuse box and there is no clip to attach it to fuse #32 in the engine compartment. If you want the DTRL to work, you will need to purchase or have on hand an additional electrical wire. fuse socket. (something to join 3 separate wires) crimp splicer to join two wires wire stripper/crimping tool electrical tape. There are no instructions. went. I will add if the fog lights work like fog lights after adjusting the headlights. For now, if you're just looking for a bright, flood-like light that disrupts/temporarily blinds oncoming traffic, then. They will work just fine.

  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine
