Amazing deal for Grinders

Needs to be lubricated first! Use it every day! This is not a turbine sander, it is a pin sander! Turbine Mills run on dry oil, which slows them down. Pencil sharpeners will get hot in your hands unless lubricated with friction oil. You will constantly fail and lose momentum! Do not use a moisture separator, it must be lubricated with oil! Second, if the runout of the tool or drill is that important, you can't have .001" runout, you need to leave the bit protruding as little as possible, unless it's solid carbide, otherwise the bit will wear itself out can bend due to the speed and cause vibration. For $40. There is no better option. In fact, it doesn't get any cheaper than $175! This one is better than the Astro blue brand because if the hose is cut or burned it can be cut and reinstalled. Astro is crimped and much more difficult to repair. We use them daily on hardened die steel. Very good, but in our opinion the carbide bits don't spin properly. If you have trouble, try reinstalling them in a properly torqued collet. An alternative is the $600 Dynabride turbine grinders, which are even faster, but if you put pressure on the cut, they slow down. Not only do they break easily, I've seen people buy one, but there are about 10 pieces in our store that have broken over time. We've reused parts from old ones for as long as we could. These little pencil sharpeners can do 98% of your work. You really are amazing. So often we have to weld and finish hardened steel in a confined space where there is no room for an angle grinder. They do their job and they do it perfectly. They will last 12-18 months if used about 3 hours per week. They still work, but more slowly. They could be disassembled and replaced with new parts, but for $40 why. Parts alone cost more than half.

Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others
