Works great and fish love to swim in bubbles. What is strange, however, is that at first he only ejected bubbles from a small part of the stone. I have a new very large air pump so I don't understand why it doesn't push the bubbles through the full area of the stone. It worked well enough, so I gave it up. As a result, after a few months, blisters began to be released all over the surface. So yes it works exactly like the pictures but for some reason it takes a while. It's still amazing and I recommend it to others.
