Looks nice and works well.
The main reason I didn't want to switch to sponge filters was that they didn't look good and bubbles popped all over the place. What I like about this model is that it doesn't look ugly in my beautiful aquarium. It can be completely disassembled to clean every nook and cranny. The only downside is that the ceramic medium will be coated internally with ceramic dust from the tumbling as it dries. This made it difficult to open or disassemble anything on the filter for a while before diving.
