Tight bandage, not designed for high activity

I am an amateur volleyball player and coach with a history of two patellar dislocations. So I always wore a knee brace when playing to prevent re-dislocation. This knee pad barely survived a season (7 months) of repeated jumping and jumping off the ground. The hinges ripped on the sides, top and bottom and the rubber U started falling out after the fabric ripped on the outside due to some indentations in the bottom. The final straw was that the bottom strap came loose. The bandage was also extremely tight and breathable, which meant it was constantly wet even on the days between games. My previous knee brace lasted 7 years so it was a huge disappointment that I didn't even finish a season with this brace. I would not recommend this brace for high activity.
