Fantastic looking great sounding amp chip

SETUP The amp came in a box with a power cord and nothing else (except the Aiyima sticker) - no instructions, no warranty info*. Everything on the back is labeled, however, and I had no trouble getting it to work. I connected the device and plugged in the RCA jacks for listening. The volume knob rubbed the bezel slightly as I turned it, but I pulled it very gently and it slipped out by a hair's breadth, after which everything was fine. (*There is also no manual on AIYIMA website yet) IN USE / SOUND You need to switch between RCA or Bluetooth/USB manually by using the switch on the back of the unit. The amp is quiet (no hum/hiss) when idle. Compared to my Winsome Labs Mouse (more than twice the price), the Aiyima has a smoother bass and less open sound. Although it sounds great for the price. This specification of 150 watts per channel (8 ohms) corresponds to 1% distortion. I would also like to see low distortion performance, although I expect it will be at least 100 watts per channel. LOOK, this amp looks fantastic - a bit like what a boutique builder would make. The internal power supply increases the size of the case (although it is still quite compact) and gives it a unique look. The downside is that you can't upgrade the power supply like you can with an external PS.CONSNo remote. On the other hand, it would be nice if I could be made to get up and adjust the volume so I don't sit at a desk all day. MISCELLANEOUS The AIYIMA web page for the A08 contains a photo of the inside of this unit.
