This is a great speaker with excellent stereo sound quality, especially for the price! It has a clear sound and tight bass. It connects via the headphone jack and is powered via a USB connection. You can connect USB to a wall socket with a standard USB connector or with an adapter (not included). My model had a slight electronic hiss when there was no other sound, but that could be the result of my headphone jack. If your system has a separate microphone jack, an additional microphone feed-through plug connects to it. It also has additional headphone jacks and a microphone on the back of the speaker. It has more cables than I need for my setup, but works great when connected to a desktop PC. The sound is way better than what my laptop could play on its own, definitely recommended!
