The cable is beautiful. This would work well for me as someone who has barely touched the charging area except to connect, but maybe not for someone who is harsh when using their systems/cables. It feels moderately researched but isn't as durable as some of the braided charging cables I'm used to, a bit average/cheaper. It was packaged nicely and has a little velcro on it which is nice as there are a lot of wires. I hooked up my DS lite and it worked great. Then I plugged in my Game Boy Advance. and it didn't fit! I have compared the connector to my current charger and it appears that it was not made correctly. The metal contacts were larger than they should have been and prevented him from entering port. Useless! After that I didn't check the others. This poor production/quality control upset me so I returned it.
