Review on Melissa & Doug Let's Play House: Dusting, Sweeping, Mopping! 6 Piece Pretend Play Set by Kathleen Pecor

I bought this for my recently 2 year old son to encourage role play. This set is really cute and looks very well put together. It came mostly assembled, all I had to do was attach the stand to the base. The base is lightweight which helps keep it upright. My son is a bit young for this and hasn't quite grasped the concept of role-playing yet. So he's basically dragging him around the house, which can be a bit dangerous at times when he's brandishing a broom or mop. I saw him try to sweep the floor several times, but it didn't last long. I think in a few months he will be more willing to play with him as intended. I would say that the ideal age for this is closer to 2.5 or 3 years.
