Review on 🏞️ Enhance Your Kaytee Habitat with the Expansion Kit 2 by Everett Underberg

Purchased for my daughter's hamster run to add living space without increasing the living space itself. The parts interact easily with all Kaytee CritterTrail cages. My daughter attached an oval loop to an existing shelter above the main cage, which is accessed through an existing upstairs tunnel. The circular loop was added by knocking out another opening in the main cage roof and lowering the tube through it to the floor. This gives the hamster more space to live and explore. The only downside is that the round loop has vents at both the top and bottom along the path. Like anyone who has had hamsters as pets or mice as pests, you know that their main job in life is moving things from one place to another, including in test tubes. As they move back and forth, small pieces of debris will fall out of the holes outside the protective screen, creating a mess on top of any other structure that may be beneath it, or if there is a circular loop hanging over the main cage, onto the surface of the table or table for living space to sit on. This is not a big problem unless someone in the house is clean. However, this can be fixed by simply applying tape to the bottom holes. I recommend this product to anyone looking to expand their Kaytee hamster enclosure.
