but i liked the way the wires looked and the insulation was.
I didn't actually cut the wires when I wrote my first review but I liked the look of the wires and the insulation was better than I expected. Unfortunately, now when I started using wires in my final setup, I noticed that the actual wires aren't really 12 ga, but almost 14 ga. Another 12ga speaker wire I bought from a local store was much thicker.
