Review on 🎨 Duncan Multicolor Plastic Juggling Balls by Michael Ringgold

Best practice tool for beginners

Like many people, I have chosen to use isolation as an opportunity to learn new skills. Juggling seemed promising as skills in manual dexterity, coordination and three-dimensional vision would have a significant knock-on effect. These days, of course, you can find tutorials on YouTube for almost anything you want to know. But without the right training tools, you'll never master the skills. These juggling balls come in a tube like tennis balls. At first they are roughly cubic, but with their soft sides they quickly become round. Seam seams are mostly inward, so they don't alter throwing and catching behavior: anyone who's ever tried to throw a soccer ball without finding the laces knows what that means. Plus, the stitching is secure enough and the skin thick enough that they can withstand damage if you drop, kick, or otherwise abuse the balls (and you will). The granule filling conforms to your hand unlike tennis balls which are hard. Especially as you learn to master your grip, this adaptability makes it much easier to use as it takes time to learn how to throw them so they don't fly into space. They're heavy enough to have some bulk and you'll need some muscle strength to use them, but light enough to throw them up with no effort. In short, they are good tools for the beginner or student juggler to practice. I still haven't mastered this skill. It turns out to be a lot more subtle than you think as clowns make it simple and easy. But I feel like I've got the hang of it, and the simple, solid construction of these balls helped. They are designed for special juggling conditions and withstand the clumsiness of beginners. If, like me, you're looking to expand your skills, this is a good tool to start the process.
