These handguards work and fit my 2015 NC700X, no modification required. There were no instructions, but I figured it out using logic and a few videos on YouTube. The hardest part for me was removing the mirrors on the NC700X as the nuts weren't what I expected so I tried to twist one of them in an impossible way. Once I figured out the mirrors, the rest happened very quickly. And the bolts fit, and the handguard didn't interfere with my non-standard (ZeroGravity) windshield. I originally bought these shin guards to protect my hands from the wind on my winter commute, but the effect was minimal so I wouldn't recommend them for that purpose. I've driven them on the freeway a few times (80mph) and expected them to shift in the wind, but they held up and didn't vibrate at all - so that's a plus. I'd recommend these over the branded version for almost double the price if you're looking for something that just protects your hands from airborne debris, or if you just want the looks.
