Happy I bought this.
I was a bit nervous after reading the reviews but glad I got it! It was easy for me to install. My 3.5 pound Yorkie stands with both front paws on the front of the seat but doesn't press down because I made sure the bottom rear strap is under the bottom of the seat. I also tightened the front strap that goes around the neck of the seat and keeps the front slightly higher for the pup to push straight while standing on it. However, one day he jumped out! It didn't fall apart! I would say that for the size I received, 5 pounds would be the max weight. Small inside. A larger puppy may have trouble with a comfortable fit.
