him. We made the mistake of buying a WC400 controller for our MinkaAire Sleek fan. This turned out to be the wrong device as the fan and light were erratic and never worked like the remote. At first I thought the device was bad until I actually searched the web for details. Although the wall mounted controls look the same, they **NOT** work properly with all MinkaAire fans. Now I've seen that the WC300, WC400, WC500, WC600 and WC1000 look the same with little or no explanation of which units are driving which fans. I looked at the manual, the fan itself, the website. I can't find any answers on how to determine which toilet you need. The answer is over but stupidly simple. If your fan came with a remote control, simply look at the back of the remote control. He will have an RC followed by numbers. Just buy a WC block that has the same numbers as the RC block. With us it turned out to be 600. You can completely ignore the model number of your fan as it will only confuse you more (our fan is from the Sleek 800 series). In the end, the wall controller works great with no issues, but I would like to say Pity to MinkaAire that they offer ZERO information in the manual or on their website on how to find the right wall controller for your fan. I would still give the product itself 5 stars, but the information on finding the right device deserves 0 stars.
