Review on Under sink filter Atoll A-550 STD (A-560E) 1/2" by Danuta Kowalczyk ᠌

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

Our first filter of this type. Naturally, there are all sorts of mugs and the like, which are also called filters, it makes no sense to buy. I bought after a detailed study of all manufacturers, settled on this. It is not clear why someone writes that a large amount of water goes into the sewer and this is a disadvantage. Why do people initially buy filters of such a system, and then write it as a disadvantage. After all, they are all so arranged and you know in advance that it will be so. In general, I plugged it into the system without instructions for 7-10 minutes, since the tools are nearby and the plastic pipes are collapsible, I didn’t buy anything, everything was in the kit, then after reading the instructions, I stuck the tubes where necessary and inserted the filters, it took another 5-7 minutes. Nothing is leaking. Everything works. People write about cloudy water with a smell, so you need to read the instructions, which say that it is cloudy because it is with air. Indeed, in a transparent glass you can see that the water is like carbonated. Air will leave the system for at least a week, and with it the smell that remains from the conservation of new equipment. I left the whole system under the sink in a standing position, I did not hang or fix it, it makes no sense. In general, I am satisfied with the filter, but I think I would be satisfied with any filter of this price category, of any manufacturer. I bought for 5500r, plus a second set of filters came as a gift, which is nice. Do not forget to buy a mineralizer, it is not expensive, but it is worth it.

Pros
  • Just a good filter, easy to connect.
Cons
  • It has not been noticed, except that it cleans the water too cleanly.
