Do not over-drain Lithium batteries.Nice looking battery, arrived promptly, good fit (and not too hard to install, but that's a computer thing, not the battery). However, I followed the charging instructions that came with the battery (and were listed on the item page on ebay). The instructions say to first discharge the battery to 3%. The battery shipped with about 40-somthing percent charge. So, I used the laptop for a couple of hours on the battery. When the battery showed 15% the laptop gave low battery a warning. I kept working, monitoring the battery level. At 9%, the laptop shut down due to low battery. It wouldn't re-start. I plugged in the charger, and the laptop started, but the battery would not charge (see image). The laptop runs on the charger alone. The battery seem to be shut down and won't provide power nor get charged.Maybe if I just plugged in the charger per the laptop warning and not followed the provided instructions the battery could/would have worked fine?Well, now I have a dead battery that's going back.
