I really wanted this blanket to be liked but there were too many cons to keep it so I have to return it. First the positives: the packaging is really good, it comes in a nice quilted fabric bag, the outer fabric is nice and soft but not slippery, and the weight is heavy and perfectly distributed. Now for the cons: I was disappointed with the color upon delivery. While the outer seams are a beautiful navy blue, the fibers on the inside are white or off-white and they show through the stretch fabric, leaving them looking blotchy at the end. It also smells very strongly of chemicals (almost the smell of paint thinner). I've noticed this comment in other reviews, but I've had better luck with other products that only air out a few days before use. Unfortunately, even outdoors and in the sun, the smell remains as strong as in the original condition after 48 hours. Finally, the largest size is not suitable for a large double bed. The measurements given give the impression that it would fit, but as the jersey shrinks a bit it is actually a few inches shy on either side, making it unsuitable for two adults sharing a large double bed. . Washing instructions on label say hand wash but also machine washable. Not quite sure how that would work.
