So I took this bad boy to the beach and am very happy with my purchase! It holds about 12 ice drinks but can easily hold many more. The straps are fantastic and I can walk the 100 meters to the beach hands free to carry baby stuff. After about 4 hours the ice melted a bit but didn't seep through the floor. Another benefit was that my back got cold wearing it in 38 degree weather. I showed a slightly darker gray but my guess is that the inner lining's sweat may have been absorbed by the mesh material. But my back has never been wet. I would recommend this to anyone commenting on this when I'm gone. Super happy!
